Here’s what the winner had to say about what inspired her to choose this interesting name: The ingredients remind me of being in Hawaii and driving along the highway seeing all the different native plants. - 1 frozen banana
- 1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger root
- 1 kiwi, peeled
- 1/2 avocado, peeled and seeded
- 1 cup (packed) kale, remove stem from the middle and discard
- 1 cup frozen red grapes
- 1 cup chilled green tea, freshly brewed, no sweeteners added
- 8 ice cubes
All all the above ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. Add more tea for a thinner smoothie.
