I can't wait to try this salad. Would this be good to eat daily or because it's a detox salad should it be consumed every so often? Please advise and thank you so much for sharing your blog.
You could eat the salad daily. Only do the whole detox for a few days if that's what you are planning though. Eating the salad as part of your regular everyday meals would be healthy.
Is there any substitutes for the dates and almonds ?! I can't Wait to start this !!
Sarah, You can substitute dates for raisins and almonds for walnuts.
Am i suppose to eat the whole salad prepared. or only one serving.
Cecelia, You are supposed to eat one serving. If you are having this as part of the 3-Day Detox and you are still hungry, you can have more.
Is there a substitute for the blueberries?
Zombmom, You can substitute any other types of berries or cut up fruit for the blueberries.
For the 2 day detox, can we have more than one serving of this if we are still hungry?
Holly, By all means, eat until you’re satisfied, not stuffed however. 🙂
Is there substitute for carrots ?
Yes, I would recommend parsnips, radishes, or any other crunchy vegetable.
Ok, so detox drink in the am. Smoothie for breakfast, salad at lunch, soup and second smoothie?
Holly, this is a single detox recipe. Are referring to one of our Cleanse & Detox Meal Plans?
Does this salad keep well for the remaining days, since you can only eat a cup a day.
As long as you reserve the dressing and add before eating each day, then the salad will keep for a few days.
When you say cups of spinach is it lightly packed or tight packed?
Cathy, Loosely packed! I just updated the recipe. 🙂
Can you recommend a sub for spinach? I’m highly sensitive to it and cannot eat it 🙁
Samantha, Romaine heart lettuce or baby kale.
I’m confused. The 7 day flush the fat away meal plan. There is a choice of five fat flushing drinks, 8 ounces of one of these to be drank before the three meals for the seven days along with the snacks and the super boost salad. Is this correct? Somewhere while trying to get this all down I thought something was said about a 10 day detox. All this is new to me so any help will be much appreciated. Thank you for your time and your help.
Mary, You’re correct about choosing one of the 8 ounce fat flushing drinks before meals, in addition to the snacks and salad.
no salt or pepper?
Black pepper is fine.
This was such a delicious and filling salad. Thank you.
You’re very welcome! Thanks for the feedback!
