    1. Natasha, Yes it would. This is just a healthier version of those commercially made creamers w/o the refined sugar. 🙂

  1. *I am going to make this with dates and skim milk. I know that milk and dates tastes delicious together, so I'm pretty excited about that!

*I wanted to try to do it with almond milk. I never had almond milk before and thought it would be interesting to try something new. When I went to the supermarket to buy almond milk, I saw a brand called Silk pure almond milk- original. Suprisingly, when I read the ingredients, It has cane sugar in it and sea salt. Do you know a healthier brand with no sugar added?

  2. I would be tempted to rinse off the raisins, soak them in the same amount of rum, and make a dynamite rum-raisin ice cream later on. I mean, why discard the raisins? Surely not ALL the flavor is gone!

      1. Do you add the 1/2t extract to the entire cup of 'creamer' you just made or to each cup of coffee you're just about to drink and put the creamer into? Thank you.

  3. Do you find that using one over the other (dates or raisins) makes it sweeter? I like my coffee sweet!

  4. I used raisins and it was not sweet at all. I was so looking forward to my coffee this morning but was sorely disappointed. Better luck with dates?

    1. Hi Linda!

Typically, most store bought creamers are made with heavy cream which does contain more fat than whole milk. In addition, the flavored creamers also contain added sugars. We recommend using skim milk for our recipes or no-sugar added milk substitutes, such as almond, coconut, or soy milk, as listed in the recipe.
