You’ll be too busy slurping every yummy ounce of this thick chocolate milkshake to miss the refined sugar and empty calories that lurk inside other fast food versions of this delicious treat.

Frothy Chocolate Shake

This creamy and rich shake is not only nutritious but tastes fabulous!

Ingredients

  • 2 bananas frozen, peeled, and pre-sliced
  • 1/2 cup Greek Yogurt non-fat or thick coconut or soy yogurt, plain
  • 1 cup almond milk skim or unsweetened
  • 1/4 cup chocolate syrup recipes for Easy Clean-Eating Chocolate Syrup and Hot Fudge
  • 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Add all of the ingredients into a blender and pulse until a smooth consistency. Enjoy!
  • For an extra special treat, top with our Clean-Eating Whipped Topping recipe and dark chocolate shavings.

  1. Could you substitute the almond milk with maybe fat free dairy milk? Me and my husband are trying to start eating clean as much as possible but it is hard because he is allergic to nuts and a lot of the good sweet stuff uses almond milk or peanut butter. Even when trying to follow a meal plan there is so much nuts used it is almost impossible to figure out substitutes. I would love to see a nut free meal plan posted!!!!

  2. This is the smoothie recipe I've been making for years. 😉 Sometimes I add a Tablespoon of peanut butter, great taste & added protein.
