  1. I watched Fat sick and Nearly Dead – and so want to start Juicing – waiting till I can afford one – can’t wait to try this.

  2. How is this 339 calories and 82 carbs? I would have to take over 8 units of fast acting insulin if this is correct and that is the same amount of insulin I would require for 1/2 a pizza. What gives? The only carbs in this should be from the apple and that is 8-10 carbs depending on the size of the apple. I want to do this but I don’t want to kill myself with an insulin overdose. Help please. I am a Type 1 Diabetic and I have to have an accurate carb and calorie count for insulin.

    1. Hi Jo, one whole apple can contain up to 25 g of carbohydrates and the kale also contains are a large amount of carbs. I’ve double and triple checked this recipe to be sure!

  4. Four celery stalks? Am I wrong in thinking a stalk is a whole stalk of celery? Used two stalks but followed the rest of the recipe exactly. Made way more than 12 oz, like 32 oz! It tasted like way too much celery.3 stars
