Pizza Burgers

Ingredients
- 1 lb. lean ground turkey
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1/2 red bell pepper (optional)
- 1/2 cup + 3 tablespoons water
- 1 tablespoon dried oregano
- Dash of Salt (optional)
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 - 6 oz can natural tomato paste (no salt)
- Whole Wheat Buns or bread
Directions
Cook ground turkey in skillet until brown and crumbly.
Drain thoroughly and place in slow cooker.
Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
Cover slow cooker and cook on low approximately 1 1/2 hours or until onions are tender.
Serve on 100% whole wheat buns.
