Let’s face it: kicking the soda habit can be hard. If you’re having trouble getting rid of the routine completely, why not trying making your own fizzy drinks at home!  Cue our recipe for homemade skinny ginger ale! By using sparkling water, homemade ginger syrup, and lime juice, you can create a healthy drink that tastes even better than store-bought versions!

Fresh ginger has a taste unlike any other – sweet, spicy, and just a hint of citrus. In this recipe, we chop fresh ginger root and mix it with turbinado sugar and water. This mixture is brought to a boil and then reduced until a caramel color “syrup” is formed. Once this syrup is cooled, it can be mixed with sparkling water to create an amazing homemade ale recipe.
