Give your immune system a boost with this delicious smoothie!

Our SkinnyLicious protein smoothie provides a hefty dose of energy, muscle building protein, and immune boosting antioxidants. It is one of the healthiest recipes featured on our site and incorporates all the best ingredients found in sweet, creamy healthy smoothies. Smoothie recipes are a great way to incorporate as many fruits and veggies into a single dish, without overloading calories. They make a great meal substitute or a delicious alternative to sugary desserts.

Another great thing about smoothies is how popular they are with children. Kids love “milkshakes” and in most cases, will be unable to tell the difference between a protein smoothie and a traditional high-fat milkshake. The next time you are recreating a healthier version of your favorite fast food meal at home, whip up a few of these healthy smoothies as a substitute for your usual chocolate shake.

Smoothies are also great for a post-workout pick-me-up. Have you recently incorporated a fitness plan into your healthy lifestyle? Chances are you already know how hungry you feel after a hard workout. Smoothies are a great way to refuel without sacrificing the calories you have burned after a workout. This protein smoothie is especially great because it helps your muscles repair and rebuild.
