Wake up with the sun to this beautiful smoothie.

We call this healthy smoothie recipe our Strawberry Sunrise Smoothie, because it mimics the gorgeous colors of a summer sunrise, and will truly brighten up the start to your day! This smoothie combines a trifecta of must-have qualities in any great smoothie. It’s easy to prepare. It’s full of healthy, low-calorie ingredients. And it looks beautiful and tempting, which will lure you in first thing in the morning and have you happily sipping your breakfast as the sun comes up.

This smoothie starts out with a load of strawberries. Then, you’ll top your red berries with a layer of sweet, orange mangoes and freshly-squeezed orange juice. With all three fruits in one glass, you wind up drinking a full dose of vitamin C, as well as loading up on tons of essential antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, and fiber in one drink. A half cup of almond milk gives this smoothie a creamy texture and adds a dose of protein. This smoothie is simple, but will have you energized all day.

Whip up this smoothie for your own breakfast treat in the morning. But keep in mind that its layered, bicolor presentation makes it a gorgeous drink that can be served at the next brunch you host, or at baby showers, bridal showers, or engagement parties.

  1. Hi. The top of the recipe says this serves three. But, the instructions in the recipe itself says to pour the ingredients into TWO cups? It sounds delicious but I’d like to know of the calories are for two servings or three? Thank you in advance for your reply ??

    1. Thanks for letting us know, Faith. We’ve updated the instructions to read “three glasses”.
