Plus, because this is a seven-day menu, it’s definitely a doable meal plan that allows you to meet your goals for reducing the white stuff.

While the recipes include whole food ingredients, some also include minimally processed foods, like salsa. When you’re shopping for prepared foods, always read the ingredient label carefully to make sure it doesn’t include added sugar. Day 1 Sugar Detox Challenge

Breakfast: Kale & Orange Smoothie (Omit the optional honey.)
Lunch: No-Mayo Chicken Salad (Save a portion for lunch on day 3.)

Snack Options:
One apple and one low-fat mozzarella cheese stick.

Day 2 Sugar Detox Challenge

  1. In the slow cooker balsamic brussels sprouts, it calls for dried cranberries. I have never seen these without added sweetener. Is there something to substitute with?

    1. Michelle, If you prefer not to used dried cranberries, raisins or dried (no-sugar added) cherries both taste great in this recipe.
