eMeals has created a way to make moms’ lives easier — and to bring families together at mealtime. eMeal founders, Jane and Jenny, were once frazzled over trying to pull off dinner for the family week after week. Their meal plans were scribbled on napkins or lost in their purses so they went to work to create a better way to make meals happen. Working with a talented team of meal planners, experienced home cooks and technical gurus, Jane and Jenny, developed eMeals to feed their families and preserve their sanity.

This sample recipe from eMeals Holiday Meal plan is the incredible apple cranberry chutney, which combines the best flavors of fall into a sweet-and-citrusy side that pairs perfectly with turkey. Once you see how easy and inexpensive it is to make your own, you’ll never go back to the canned cranberry sauce! Make this dish up to a week in advance to cut down on the day-of Thanksgiving cooking rush. It’s not always easy to incorporate an eating plan that is nutritious, satisfying, and doesn’t break the bank. Take the stress out of meal planning with eMeals Clean Eating Meal Plans– the perfect way to implement a healthy menu and slash grocery bills. Ingredients

  • 2 oranges large
  • 2 apples large
  • 12 ounces fresh cranberries washed and drained
  • 1 cup maple syrup

Instructions

  • Zest the oranges, scraping only the orange part of the peeling off. (Avoid the white part – it’s bitter.) Set zest aside, and juice the oranges.
  • Peel, core and chop the apples.
  • In a medium saucepan, combine the cranberries, orange zest, orange juice, apples and maple syrup. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Reduce heat; cook uncovered for 15 minutes, or until the cranberries have popped. Stir occasionally.
  • Cool, and transfer to a serving bowl. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

  1. Just wondering if you can replace the maple syrup with honey? I don't keep syrup on hand but honey is here and I have everything else. Thanks!
