Swap out unhealthy dips for this yummy avocado dip!

This creamy dip is an entertaining favorite. Healthy dips are always a hit at parties because people get to indulge in their favorite snacks, but without all the saturated fats and icky chemicals found in many store bought dips. Avocado dips are especially great because they are made with avocados – a nutritious powerhouse. They are high in fat, but it is healthy fat. You don’t want to overdo it, but you do need fat in your daily diet and avocados are an excellent source of the best kind of fat for your body. Side dips help you spice up bland foods and can even be a great way to boost your veggie intake.

Planning a party is hard work, especially if you are trying to keep the menu healthy. So many traditional party foods are junk food. There are ways to create a healthy party menu without busting your party budget. It takes a little time and you will need to make a few dishes from scratch, but your guests will be thrilled with the time you invest in their well-being. Looking for healthy party punch? 1. I just made this tonight for the first time…SO good. My 2 year old loved it, my 8 year old niece couldn't get enough, and the rest of my family wanted the recipe. They ate it as dip and I used it as a base for a chicken tostada. This will definitely become a go-to recipe. 🙂 Thanks!

  2. What do you all eat it with?
My husband thinks it would be a good veggie dip for carrots & celery, etc….but seems to me it would be more of a dip for tortilla chips or maybe crackers??
