What is Green yogurt?? Is it just plain yogurt??
Danielle, Greek yogurt can be found next to the regular yogurt. It has more protein and is a lot thicker…very popular in the fitness world!
is that green yogurt? or Greek Yogurt?
Greek Yogurt, and you can find it by the regular yogurt in small individual sizes or pint sizes. It is really good.
Betsey, Just made the correction…it's Greek yogurt! 🙂
GREEK yogurt.
Heather, Thank you! Whoops!
I have a pot luck bbq coming up soon. I'm going to give these a try!
I really like this recipe, I had given up deviled eggs because of the mayo, but now the Greek yogurt is a great way for me to enjoy them again! thank you!
I have a pot luck bbq coming up soon. I’m going to give these a try!
Deviled eggs are my go-to for potlucks… and this is a wonderful healthy option. Thanks!!
Sounds good – but what are the calories???
Robin, About 50 calories per egg.
Per my calculations in CalorieCount, you're looking at just under 85 calories for 2 egg halves.
Greek yogurt is a different kind of yogurt, brand names include chobani, fage, and okois, and some others. Find it by your regular yogurt.
I was recommended this website by means of my cousin. I'm not certain whether or not this post is written via him as nobody else recognise such special about my difficulty. You're wonderful! Thanks!
Thanks for the feedback!
Is the vinegar a must? I have issues with my tummy when I eat vinegar..
Mina, I would recommend leaving it out…should be fine!
I substitute a little sour pickle juice for the vinegar, if I don't have any.
Making mayonnaise at home is also a healthy alternative… but this sounds worth a try!
I don’t like Greek Yogurt. Is there anything else I could use? What if I simply used light mayo? I also can’t eat anything spicy anymore, sadly :(. I did think about chopping up some mushrooms and cooked spinach to the mixture instead. That would make them really filling. I’ll try it that way. Thanks
Lily, Lite mayo would work fine, just look for one with healthy ingredients.
Half olive oil mayo and spicy mustard always sat my deviled eggs off.
Both recipes are great and I love the Greek yogurt ????????
Is there any way you could come up with a week of daily meal plans for the Whole 30
We’re working on one, Lynn. 🙂 Thanks for the suggestion.
What are the carbs in the nutrition? I don’t see any in the ingredients.
Kristen, That’s 1 carb. The data has been updated. Thanks! 🙂
I’m very interested in your snacks. I know that’s where my diet breaks down. Is there a cookbook that i can order?
Kathy, We have a lot of ebook cookbooks that you can order then download. They are all digital. 🙂

What is the clean mayo? When I click on the words ‘clean mayo’ it brings me to the amazon site?
Julie, Clean mayo doesn’t contain the usual refined sugar, unhealthy oils, and other unrecognizable ingredients. There’s a link to the mayo brand we often use for recipes.
I do not see greek yogurt in the deviled egg recipe, am i missing something?
Lori, This recipe calls for Mayo.
I’m with Lori. The comments were mentioning Greek yogurt, but did it change now using Clean Mayo? Is there another recipe that calls for Greek Yogurt? Wouldn’t mind trying that. Thanks!
Ami, Feel free to sub the mayo with Greek Yogurt. Both ways are delicious.
The link for Clean mayo would not open for me. Would you please give me the name of it?
Jeanette, Here’s the link
The name of the mayo is “Primal Kitchen” made with olive oil.
The link is not working for the Clean Mayo. So I should search for Primal Kitchen but substitute Avocado Oil instead of the olive oil? Or instead use Greek yogurt & no oil?
Hey Kim! Hmmm. The link worked for me, but I went ahead and updated it anyway just in case. You can go ahead and try again or try this link to the Primal Kitchen Avocado Oil Mayo: https://amzn.to/2xGyGhy We highly recommend using this mayo, or another clean-eating mayo, for best results!
What is clean Mayo?
Martha, No sugar added and no soybean oil. I recommend a mayo with avocado or extra-virgin olive oil.
I’m confused about the amount of points in the deviled eggs. Isn’t the mayonnaise the only thing in the recipe which has a Smart point value? Wouldn’t that make the total points per serving much lower?
Hi Vicki, you are correct. This recipe should only be 2 points per serving.
One egg is 6 – 8 grams (depending on size). One deviled egg is 2 grams. How does that happen?
One deviled egg is only half of an egg!
