Mango Banana Cream Smoothie

Our Mango-Banana Cream Smoothie tastes like an indulgent treat, but it is actually packed with healthy ingredients. This super food smoothie has loads of vitamin C and is low in calories and cholesterol. Go ahead, enjoy this rich and creamy dessert smoothie without an ounce of guilt.

Smoothie recipes come in all shapes and sizes. They can be loaded with sweet fruit or jazzed up with vegetables, protein, and other additions. There are few rules when it comes to smoothies, making them a great option for picky eaters and creative kitchen connoisseurs alike. Smoothies are also a great option if you need to “hide” veggies. If you or your kids prefer the sweet taste of fruit over bitter vegetables, but you understand how important it is to fill up on the nutrients in veggies, smoothies are the perfect solution. You can load up a smoothie with multiple vegetables and all you will taste is the sweet fruit.

This mango smoothie is the perfect blend of tart and creamy. The banana adds a frothy thickness many people love in smoothies. Made completely with healthy ingredients, this smoothie would still make a great substitute for a high calorie dessert.

If you are looking for a banana smoothie that is a bit fancier than the usual banana and berry mixes or you love the juicy, sweet taste of mango, this smoothie is for you!

  1. Can't wait to try this but I think I will substitute the milks with Almond Breeze unsweetened almond/coconut blend, it has only 45 cal per 1 cup.  But I love anything mango!!! Thanks for a great base recipe!

  3. Love the two together! It is very smooth and tasty.  The Mango gives it a tropical feeling!

  4. I love the sweet flavor of mango and banana. I cut the mani ahead of time and keep it on hand in the fridge.

  5. Mmm, sounds yummy but I think I’d prefer it without the rum extract, since I don’t like rum.

  6. Recently discovered the greatness of mangoes and banana together. I buy the frozen mango slices from trader Joe's, add an over ripe banana and a good half cup of plain kefir and blend away.
    Tastes better than ice cream!
