Can I use pineapple juice? I don't have any pineapple chunks right now. This looks yummy, I love your cocoa choclate oatmeal! Stacy
Stacy, Yes!
Do you count the fruits in your smoothies? When pineapple turns into a juice, doesn't it count as points? Just wondering because I always get conflicting opinions on it.
Cheryl, Anything that goes into the smoothie is counted toward points. š
do you use the coconut milk in the can or the carton? big difference between the two so I don't want to mess it up..
Liz, Always the can, much less processed.
Ok, so this is random but I'm LOVING the little cups that were used! they almost look like little empty yankee candle glasses! What are they really?
Sue, I’ve had them so long I can’t remember where they came from. Sorry!
Can you add protein powder and make it a protein smoothie?
Yes, great idea!
Looks good! If using canned pineapple chunks, do you drain them, or add with the juice?
Kelly, If it's 100% pineapple juice, then you can add it.
Can I use coconut oil instead of coconut milk?
Jill, I wouldn’t recommend coconut oil instead of coconut milk, for this recipe. If you would like to add a few teaspoons of coconut oil that’s fine. š
New to smoothies, how do you store the extra servings?
Lisa, Smoothies can be frozen. š Be sure to thaw in the fridge and not at room temp..
CAn you substitute Almond Milk for the coconut milk?
Mindy, You sure can.
