Can I do this without the tofu?

    • Skinny Ms.  March 6, 2013

LeeAnn, Sure. I would recommend substituting with another protein, maybe avocado?

  3. GINA  June 18, 2013

What about Whey protein powder as a substitute?

  4. Samantha  June 18, 2013

If you use almond milk, doesn't that have protein? I, too, am not a fan of tofu…

    • Skinny Ms.  June 20, 2013

Almond milk generally has about 1 g protein per cup, whereas cow’s milk has about 8 g. You can sub an avocado for the tofu or Greek yogurt. Almond milk is fine but will not provide a great deal of protein.

    • Skinny Ms.  June 21, 2013

It does have protein, but not a lot. An 8 oz. glass of almond milk has 1 gram of protein.

    • SkinnyMs  March 4, 2014

      Yes, it does.
