Spicy Broiled Green Beans

Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon Kosher salt
  • 1 pound fresh green beans ends trimmed

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to low broil.
  • Combine all ingredients except green beans and mix well. Place the beans in a large mixing bowl and drizzled the spice mixture over top. Toss well to coat the green beans in the sauce.
  • Spread the beans in an even layer on a baking sheet. Broil for about 10 minutes or until crispy and beans just begin to brown.

Notes

Note: The beans may still be crunchy when finished cooking.
