Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup clean mayonnaise
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 teaspoon dry dill
  • pinch red pepper flakes
  • 4 slices whole grain bread toasted
  • 6 strips turkey bacon cooked and cut in half
  • 4 large leaves butter lettuce
  • 1 large tomato cut into 1/4 inch slices (heirloom tomatoes are delicious!)

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, lemon juice, lemon zest, dill, and red pepper flakes. Spread the mayonnaise mixture between each slice of bread.
  • Divide the cooked bacon between two slices of the bread and top with lettuce and tomato. Place a remaining slice of bread on top and serve.
