Ingredients

  • 1 banana very ripe, mashed
  • 1 cup almond butter
  • 1/3 cup applesauce unsweetened
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 2 cups quick oats
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup cran raisins
  • 1/4 cup sunflower seeds lightly toasted
  • 2 tablespoons ground flax seeds

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 325° .
  • Prepare cookie sheets by lining with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl add first 4 ingredients and stir until well combined.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk to combine remaining ingredients.
  • Add wet ingredients with dry and stir until thoroughly combined.
  • Place dough by the heaping tablespoonful on parchment lined cookie sheet.
  • Bake at 325 degrees F for 15-20 minutes, until golden brown and dough is set. Check often to be sure not to burn.
  • Allow to cool on cooling rack, and then store in an airtight container at room temperature.
