Easy At-Home Cold Brew
Enjoy a smooth cold brew at home with out the cost of a coffee shop.
Servings: 4 people
- 1 cup whole coffee beans
- 4 cups cold water
Coarsely grind the coffee beans by pulsing the beans in a grinder.
Place the beans in a 5 to 6 cup beverage container. Pour the cold water over top. Gently stir to ensure the beans are appropriately saturated with water. Cover and refrigerate overnight, no more than 12 hours.
Line a strainer with cheese cloth and pour the chilled mixture into the lined strainer over a bowl or beverage container. If needed, transfer to a storage container, the cold brew can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
Pour the cold brew into a drinking cup, add any desired milk, water, or sweetener to personal preference.
