3-Ingredient Smashed Sweet Potatoes

  • 3 sweet potatoes cut into 1 inch slices
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 3 garlic cloves minced


  • Bring a pot of water to boil. Boil sweet potatoes for 25 minutes, then drain. Meanwhile, preheat oven to 450 degrees. Also, melt the butter and garlic together in a pan with salt and pepper.
  • Layer the boiled sweet potatoes on a baking sheet. Smash them, but don’t flatten them. Pour over the butter-garlic mixture and roasted for 20 to 25 minutes. Sea salt and black pepper to taste.
