The Easiest Air Fryer Chicken Breasts Recipe

This simple recipe is the easiest way to make chicken breasts in the air fryer. You can use them for any recipe that calls for shredded chicken, or serve them with a vegetable side dish for dinner.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
  • avocado oil spray
  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer to 360 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • In a small bowl, combine the salt, garlic powder, ground black pepper, smoked paprika, and dried oregano.
  • Spray the smooth side of the chicken breasts with the avocado oil and sprinkle on half of the seasoning.
  • Place the breast in the air fryer basket, seasoned side down. Quickly spray the other side and sprinkle on the remaining seasoning.
  • Cook for 8 to 10 minutes before flipping the breasts and cooking for an additional 5 to 10 minutes. NOTE: Air fryer cook times vary depending on the brand and the size of the chicken breast. The best way to know when the chicken is finished is to use an instant-read thermometer. When the thickest part of the chicken breast reads 165 degrees, the chicken is finished.
