Ingredients

  • 1 pound lean ground turkey recommend 93% lean
  • 1 egg lightly whipped with a fork
  • 1/3 cup rolled oats uncooked
  • 1/3 cup chunky salsa no sugar added
  • 1/2 cup onion diced
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup ketchup

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • Combine all ingredients, except ketchup, in a mixing bowl. Add mixture to a 5 x 7-inch loaf pan, press to form a loaf. Bake 35 minutes uncovered.
  • Remove pan and evenly spread ketchup over the top. Bake an additional 10 minutes.
  • Allow to rest 5 minutes. Either remove the entire loaf and place on a serving platter, or slice first.
