  • 1/2 cup quinoa cooked (chilled), follow cooking directions on package
  • 1 banana medium, frozen, pre-sliced
  • 1/4 cup apple juice no sugar added
  • 1 tablespoon shredded coconut unsweetened
  • 1 cup milk soy, nut, or dairy can be used
  • 1 cup baby spinach packed
  • 1 tablespoon ginger fresh, minced


  • Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Add ice for a thicker consistency or add additional milk for a thinner smoothie.
