Ingredients

Chicken

  • 2 pounds chicken drumettes
  • 2 tablespoons avocado oil
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon pepper

Cranberry Glaze

  • cups cranberries frozen
  • ½ cup water
  • ¼ cup maple syrup
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce low sodium
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger minced
  • 1/3 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 425F. Place the wings in a large bowl and coat them with the avocado oil.
  • Then add the kosher salt, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika and pepper and toss to coat.
  • Line a baking sheet with a wire rack. Bake the wings for 20 minutes on one the first side. Then flip and bake for 15 more minutes on the other side or until golden brown.
  • While the wings are cooking, add the ingredients for the cranberry glaze to a small saucepan over medium/high heat. Bring the mixture to a bowl and then reduce the heat to low to simmer.
  • Simmer for 20 minutes, then use an immersion blender to blend the ingredients until smooth.
  • Once the wings are done baking, toss them with the cranberry glaze and place them in the oven to bake again for 5-7 minutes.
