Flatbread Pesto Cheese Pizza

Ingredients

  • 1 whole wheat flatbread precooked
  • 1/4 cup pesto sauce
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 1/2 cup Roma tomatoes optional, sliced
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper freshly grated, to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  • Place flatbread on a baking sheet and spread with pesto sauce.
  • Top with shredded cheese, followed by any desired toppings.
  • Bake for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown and cheese is melted.
  • Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste, and serve

Notes

Optional toppings for pizza include, but are not limited to sundried tomatoes, red pepper flakes, bell peppers, mushrooms, diced ham, pepperoni, etc... Feel free to get creative!
