- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 4 to 6 boneless and skinless chicken breasts
- salt to taste
- ground black pepper to taste
- 1 onion medium, thinly sliced (not chopped)
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 4 garlic cloves
- 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
- 29 ounces diced tomatoes cans
Pour the olive oil on the bottom of the slow cooker, add chicken breasts, salt, and pepper to each breast, put sliced onion on top of the chicken then put in all the dried herbs and garlic cloves. Pour in vinegar and top with tomatoes.
Cook on high for 4 hours, and serve over angel hair pasta.
