canned jack fruit
drained, rinsed, and pulled into strips with a fork

olive oil

yellow onion
thinly diced

garlic cloves
Clean BBQ Sauce

ounces
tomato paste
canned
1/2
cup
pureed tomato
canned

tablespoon
molasses
1
tablespoon
apple cider vinegar

tablespoons
Dijon mustard
1/4
cup
fresh pineapple juice

tablespoons
nutritional yeast
Instructions
Combine BBQ sauce ingredients in a medium bowl
In a pot, heat olive oil on medium-high heat
Sauté onion and garlic for about 3 minutes
Add sauce and reduce to a simmer for 5 minutes
Add jackfruit and simmer 10 more minutes
Serve on a sandwich bun or wrap
