Chinese 5 spice powder

peanut butter
natural, creamy

honey
raw preferred

teaspoons
sesame oil

garlic cloves
minced
Instructions
Mix vinegar, soy sauce, ginger, and Chinese 5-spice powder with 3 tablespoons water and set aside.
In a separate small bowl, stir together honey and peanut butter.
Pour sesame oil into a small saucepan over medium-low heat.
Once hot, add garlic.
Cook for about one minute, just until golden and fragrant.
Add vinegar-soy mixture and whisk.
Whisk in peanut butter-honey mixture and cook for about 3 to 5 minutes, or until the sauce is fully combined and slightly thick. Remove from heat.
Cool uncovered, then refrigerate or serve right away.
Sauce will be good in the fridge for up to a week.
