Ingredients

  • 3 pounds chicken wings separated, skin on
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

Orange Honey BBQ Sauce

  • 1 orange juiced
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Cover the chicken wings with salt and pepper and set aside.
  • In a sauce pan, combine the sauce ingredients together and place over low heat. Bring to a simmer and cook for about 10-15 minutes or until thickened.
  • Let cool for 10 minutes or so, then toss the chicken and the sauce together in a bowl until chicken is evenly coated.  Lay chicken on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
  • Bake for 35-45 minutes, or until chicken is fully cooked and skin becomes brown and crispy.
  • Then, turn the heat to broil for 5-10 minutes, or until chicken skin starts to become golden brown.  Keep a close eye on chicken wings because they can burn quickly
