Ingredients

  • 1 head broccoli cut into florets, tough bottom stems discarded
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher or sea salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  • Toss broccoli with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Spread in an even layer on a nonstick baking sheet.
  • Bake for 20 to 25 minutes on the middle rack of the oven, stirring halfway through until some edges have slightly browned and broccoli is tender.
