Ingredients

  • 3 pounds pork shoulder
  • 2 yellow onions medium, peeled and sliced
  • 6 garlic cloves peeled and smashed
  • 1/4 cup orange juice freshly squeezed
  • 1/4 cup lime juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 1 tablespoon ground cumin
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  • Add the pork to the slow cooker. Nestle the onions and garlic around it. Whisk the orange juice, lime juice, and seasonings together and pour over the meat. Add enough water to cover meat about halfway. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours. When pork is done, shred with 2 forks.
  • Serve in taco shells, burritos, sandwich rolls, or over rice.
