Ingredients

  • 1 cup pecan halves raw
  • 1 cup almonds raw
  • 1 cup hazelnuts or macadamia nuts, raw
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1/2 tablespoon olive oil optional coconut oil
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher or sea salt

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or cooking spray.
  • Mix olive oil, maple syrup, salt, cayenne pepper, salt, and chili powder in a bowl until combined, and then toss in the nuts to coat evenly.
  • Spread in an even layer on the baking sheet and cook for 15 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes or so to move nuts around.
  • Remove from oven and allow to cool. Enjoy!
