– Lean ground beef – Baby bella mushrooms

Cook Time: 20 Min

Step 1

Shape the ground beef into 6 patties and season with salt and pepper. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Cook the burgers for 5 minutes each side.

Heat the butter and olive oil in another skillet over medium/high heat. Cook the garlic cloves and onion until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.

Add the sliced mushrooms to the pan and cook for about 5 minutes or until the mushrooms are browned, stirring occasionally.

Step 4

Add the milk and Neufchatel cheese to the pan, stirring until melted. Reduce the heat to low and stir in the dried thyme, mustard, pepper, and salt. Let this mixture simmer for 5 minutes, then spoon it on top of the burgers.
