While running offers tremendous long-term benefits including a lean body, strong legs, and robust cardiovascular system, it’s an activity that needs to be eased into gradually. Our 6 Week Walk/Run Calendar is tailor-made for beginners, helping to build your cardiovascular endurance, build strength in your legs, core, and arms, and boost your metabolism. We’ve put together six weeks consisting of four walk and/or run routines per week, as well as two cross-training days. Our focus on building whole body strength, as well as allowing you to make progress from week to week, will ensure that you end your six week running program with greater strength, less pain, and an ease that will turn you into a running addict with a strong, slim body to boot!
