5-Minute Daily Butt Workout

Everyone wants a bigger booty lately. Celebrities, fitness models, and trainers are celebrating their curvy backsides. Whether your curves are big or small, a round, toned booty is in. By training the gluteus, you’ll also reap a ton of health benefits. You can build lean muscle, burn fat, improve your balance, and strengthen an important muscle that you use in many day-to-day activities.

This 5-minute daily butt workout can be performed after any routine. It’s quick and effective, targeting your glutes for a butt workout that will tighten and tone your backside.

Equipment Needed: Gym mat or bath towel, a set of medium dumbbells (about 10 lb.), and a gym timer (Gymboss is a free-to-download timer app).

What to do: Perform each exercise for 20 seconds, then rest for 10 seconds. Do two sets of each exercise before moving on to the next. For one-legged exercises, such as donkey kicks and fire hydrant kicks, do one set with your right leg and one set with your left leg.

Beginner Level: 1 round
Intermediate Level: 3 rounds
Advanced Level: 5 rounds
