7 Documentaries That Will Change the Way You Think about Food

Empower yourself to change.

How much do you know about the food that goes from your pantry to your plate to your mouth? Check out these 7 documentaries that will change the way you think about food.

There are plenty of reasons folks fall into unhealthy eating habits. For some, processed and takeout food simply seem more convenient than preparing healthy homemade recipes. Others might eat unhealthy foods because that’s what they grew up eating.

Sometimes an unhealthy diet is the result of not being fully aware of the potential dangers of the typical American diet. For example, the “diet” food trap can lull us into believing we’re eating healthy products. After all, labels that scream “low calorie” and “low fat” make it seem like a food is good for the body, right? Not necessarily. There’s more to healthy food than simply stripping fat and calories.
