4. Set your alarm 30 minutes earlier.
Morning workouts—don’t knock it till you’ve tried it!
If you’re not a morning person, working out first thing in the morning probably sounds awful. If you can barely make it out of bed, how are you supposed to do a squat?
Nevertheless, many people report feeling more energized (not more tired) after a morning workout. When you exercise, your blood starts pumping, your brain jolts awake, your muscles loosen, and your joints lubricate. It even revs up your metabolism!
A little dose of exercise is actually a great way to wake up your body. And you won’t know if morning workouts suit you until you’ve tried it.

5. Bring the kids along.
Work isn’t the only thing that gets in the way of your training. There’s the children.
There are several ways you can exercise with your kids. If you have very young children, bring the stroller along for a run. It gets the kids out of the house, gets you working hard, and you’ll be that hot, fit mom at the park.
If you’re children are too old or don’t like being in the stroller, just taking them to the park can be a workout in itself. Take a long walk, play a few rounds of tag, or bike through the paths. Your kids’ games can double as your workout.

6. Work on the treadmill.

You might not be able to sprint while typing, but you can probably keep up a walking pace. Treadmill desks are ideal if you work from home, or if you usually have a handful of online errands to run in the evening.
Walk while you pay your bills online, catch up with your favorite series, watch the news, and scroll through social media. You’ll probably be able to finish one or two miles, burning a few hundred calories in the process.

7. Work out during commercial breaks.
If you don’t have a treadmill desk, you can still fit in a workout while catching up on your favorite shows. Turn commercial breaks into brief, but intense mini-workouts.
When we watch television, we’re often sitting down for long periods of time, which is seriously harmful to our health. But preventing complications is as simple as breaking up long stretches of sitting with a little bit of movement.
