There are very few of us that actually enjoy doing cardio. It’s not always fun, but it’s imperative for maintaining your heart and lung health. When it comes to running long distances, having the right music is key to get you through. For many of us, music is our workout partner, there to keep us motivated. It’s crucial that we pick upbeat, energy filled tunes. We’ve compiled our top 20 running songs to complete the ultimate Youtube playlist for running!

We’ve scoured the internet for some of the best running songs out there. The songs that we’ve included span decades, from new hits to popular movie soundtracks. In total, these songs will give you over an hour of motivation (79 minutes – to be exact.) The American Heart Association recommends a minimum of 75 minutes of HIIT per week or 150 minutes of moderate intensity cardio.
