For this workout, you’ll only need a yoga mat and an interval timer which is available on most phones.

5-Minute Rise and Shine Morning Workout

The mornings are the best time of day to workout. Especially when it’s only five minutes. Your favorite song is probably just over five minutes. So start your day with a duo of music and moves.

Reverse lunges combined with jumping jacks, push-ups, and bicycles, will have you feeling rejuvenated and ready to begin your day. Remember to fuel up with a nourishing breakfast that combines complex carbohydrates and lean protein for energy that lasts all day long.

What to Do: Perform each exercise for 45 seconds and then rest 15 seconds before moving onto the next exercise.

Beginners should complete one round, while anyone who is intermediate or advanced should complete 2 and 3 rounds, respectively. If you’re short on time and not a beginner, complete the moves a fast a possible to get the same results.

Intermediate Level: 2 rounds
Advanced Level: 3 rounds
