These Italian tuna wraps are a quick, healthy, and delicious way to fill up on protein, fiber, and healthy fats to get you through the afternoon. You can even take the filling out of the wrap and serve it over a bed of lettuce or with crackers if that better suits your preferences. 

If you’re meal prepping, we suggest prepping the filling at the start of the week, then assembling your wrap when you’re about to eat just to make sure the tortilla doesn’t get soggy.

Quickly prep our delicious Italian tuna wraps for your next lunch! First, combine the mashed avocado, tuna, balsamic, and lemon juice in a bowl. Then add the mozzarella cheese, cherry tomatoes, olives, and basil leaves to the tuna mixture and gently mix the ingredients together. Divide the filling, and evenly spread it into each whole wheat tortilla. Then, simple wrap it up and enjoy!

As we said above, if you’re making this wrap ahead of time, prepare the filling and divide it evenly into 4 individual containers. Bring your tortilla with you and once you’re ready for lunch, assemble it and dig in.

Ingredients

  • 1 avocado mashed
  • 12 ounces tuna canned, chunk light
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 1 lemon juiced
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 1/4 cup cherry tomatoes quartered
  • 1/4 cup basil leaves chopped
  • 4 whole wheat tortillas

Instructions

  • In a bowl, combine mashed avocado, tuna, balsamic vinegar, and lemon juice.
  • Gently mix in mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, and basil leaves.
  • Evenly divide the filling and place in the center of each tortilla, then wrap up and enjoy!
