Spiced Molasses Sweet Potatoes

With a fantastic combination of flavors, this sweet potato recipe is a wonderful sweet and savory addition to your holiday table.

Ingredients

  • 3 sweet potatoes medium, peeled
  • 3 tablespoons molasses
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon orange zest
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 3 tablespoons Greek yogurt plain

Instructions

  • Dice the sweet potatoes into 1 inch chunks. Place into a large soup pot and fill with water (water should come 1 inch above the potatoes). Bring to a boil on high heat and cook until potatoes are soft.
  • Return to a large mixing bowl. Add remaining ingredients and whip until smooth.
  • Serve and enjoy!
