7. Squats

Fit in 30-second squat sessions during commercial breaks, while you’re waiting for water to boil, or while taking a reading break. You can even alternate between different types of squats to liven it up. Squats are a great cardio exercise because they activate large muscles on your legs, which burn more calories than their small counterparts.

8. Walking Lunges

Lunge down hallways to get a stronger butt. Like squats, lunges activate large thigh muscles that burn many calories. You can also do lunges to get around the house, which makes them more fun!

9. Walking or Jogging

Finally, our top 30-second workouts are walking and jogging. These are the most versatile exercises on our list. Try walking to the store instead of driving, or walking across the office instead of sending an email. These small changes can make a big difference in your health, weight, and energy.
