5 Moves To A Summer Body

With summer quickly approaching, a simple and concise workout is your easy, effective, and time-efficient solution as you strive for the body of your dreams. We’ve compiled 5 compound moves to target multiple muscles at once. This is a quick summer workout and will leave you with plenty of time to enjoy the beautiful warm weather and fun outdoor events.

Combine lunges and squats with jack knifes, x jumps, plank rows, and burpees. These simple moves are also efficient enough to target key muscles, tone and tighten, and boost metabolism, even when performed as a quick workout. This is one routine you won’t have trouble fitting into your day.

Equipment Needed: medium weights (8-12 lbs), interval timer, yoga mat

What to Do: Perform each exercise for 1 minute and rest 10 seconds in between. Rest 30 seconds in between rounds.

Beginner’s Level: 2 rounds
Intermediate Level: 3 rounds
Advanced Level: 4 rounds
