Easy Sea Salt Skillet Popcorn

The perfect snack for movie night, or whenever else you get the munchies!

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/4 cup popcorn kernels
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt

Instructions

  • Heat the olive oil in a large skillet (with a lid) on medium heat. Once hot add the kernels.
  • Place the lid on the skillet and gently shake periodically. DO NOT remove the lid once the kernels begin to pop.
  • As the kernels being to pop, continue to shake occasionally. The popped kernels can burn easily. Continue to cook until the popping slows. Remove from heat and wait until popping has stopped.
  • Remove the lid and sprinkle with sea salt. Enjoy hot!

Notes

A iron fry pan works great for this recipe! However, it is not recommended to double this recipe as the popcorn can easily burn. If more than 4 servings is needed we recommend making several batches as needed.
