You can never be too busy for amazing abs!
No matter what I’m doing at the gym, I always squeeze in some ab work. Ab exercises are quick, but they’re so beneficial for your body. Perform 30 seconds of bicycles, or hold a 30-second plank, and see how great that burn feels. No matter how busy you are, you can always find time to get in a quick ab workout. The best ab workout for busy people is short on time and quick on burning fat to leave you with a sculpted core.
Being busy means you don’t have time to work on your abs for hours at a time. Luckily, you don’t need that! Grab a heavy dumbbell to build better, stronger abs much faster than unweighted workouts. Muscle resistance is the key to growth and fat burning!
The Best Ab Workout for Busy People
Perform each exercise for 30 seconds with no rest in between exercises. You’ll be alternating muscle groups, so there’s no need to rest. Complete four rounds, resting for 30 seconds in between each round. That’s less than 10 minutes of hard ab work to enjoy within your busy day.
- Plank Knee to Elbow: One of my favorite plank exercises. Bring the knee in as far in as possible, and remember to imagine rolling your abs towards your spine for best results.
- Dumbbell V Crunch: A full ab exercise with added resistance to build up your abs.
- Dumbell Russian Twist: A great way to slim the look of your waist and shred your obliques.
- Rocking Plank: A great core exercise to build stability and strength. Again, be sure to roll your abs toward your spine and hold.
