High Intensity Interval Training
This month, we’re all about Tabata! If you haven’t heard of it before, tabata is a short, yet effective training style that uses high-intensity intervals. Even though the intervals are short, they’re still incredibly rewarding. Whether you’re working for 20 seconds or 40, each quick session requires every last ounce of effort you have. So, once you give it your all, you can take a rest until the next one starts.
Tabata is extremely effective for many reasons, since it encourages you to push yourself without burning you out too quickly. Not only can you develop fast-twitch muscles and overal strength, but you’ll also build endurance. Furthermore, this kind of high-intensity interval training has proven to be effective for burning calories and losing fat. That’s why, for our next challenge, we’re going to dare you to do 30 days of tabata workouts!
Because tabata workouts can be short, you can fit them in almost any time. And, since they’re so simple, you can take our tabata challenge and still continue your regular gym routine.
