Want legs you can show off? It’s not as hard as you think! The vision is there, you just need the right exercises and commitment to get the job done. Our Total Legs Tone Down Challenge is designed to build and strengthen your legs, leaving you with toned and trimmed legs.

In order to tone down, you’ll need to build the muscles up. Increased muscle mass improves your body’s capacity to burn fat. This challenge offers muscle building along with a mix of cardio exercises that allow you to target your leg muscles. It promotes total body fat burning while giving your muscles rest so you can keep pushing through! Grab some comfortable workout clothes and get ready to stretch, bend, and move those legs in every which way.

Total Legs Tone Down Challenge

What You’ll Need: An interval timer (available on most phones), a set of medium dumbbells (see fitness level for recommendation), and a yoga mat or soft surface

What To Do: Perform this workout five times a week for four weeks, resting on Sunday, Tuesday, and Friday.

Beginner Workout: Perform each exercise for 45 seconds with 30 seconds of rest in between sets. Complete four rounds, resting for 45 seconds in between each round. For dumbbell exercises, use 10 to 15 pound weights.

Intermediate Workout: Perform each exercise for 1 minute with 30 seconds of rest in between. Complete five rounds, resting for 30 seconds in between each round. For dumbbell exercises, use 15 to 20 pound weights.

Advanced Workout: Perform each exercise for 1 minute with no rest in between. Complete five rounds, resting for 30 seconds in between each round. For dumbbell exercises, use 20 to 25 pound weights.

  5. Squats w/ Leg Lifts
