Long days filled with meetings, deadlines, playdates, social obligations, and housework can take a lot out of us. By noon, we’re ready to take a nap and call it quits. We all know how helpful yoga is for relaxation, but did you know that the right poses can help wake your body up and give you a lasting boost for the entire day? Use yoga for energy and feel strong, sustained, and energized everyday.

The following yoga poses include poses you can do from anywhere, whether it’s your office or your living room. Start with the Upward Dog pose and end with the Happy Baby pose for an invigorating yoga workout!

7 Yoga Poses for All Day Energy

Equipment Needed: Yoga mat, interval timer (Gymboss is a free app download).

What to Do: Review the exercises and videos below. Hold each pose for 30 seconds and then transition into the next pose. If performing multiple rounds, rest 1 minute between each.

Beginner’s Level: 2 rounds
Intermediate – Advanced Level: 3 rounds
