Avocado Pear Smoothie

With only 5 ingredients, not including the ice, this Avocado Pear Smoothie can be put together in about 2 minutes. We want to make your healthy lifestyle as easy and delicious as possible.

You want to choose a very ripe pear that has a thin skin, and a soft, juicy bite such as a Bartlett pear. These types of pears, when ripe, will blend easily in almost any blender. See, you can put pears in smoothies!

Note that unlike other fruits you can add to smoothies, pears won’t freeze well, so chop them just prior to adding to retain their juicy freshness, and avoid any browning.

  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt non-fat, plain
  • 1/2 avocado ripe, peeled and pitted
  • 1 pear ripe, cored and chopped
  • 2 teaspoons honey raw
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ice to chill


  • Combine all ingredients in a blender and pulse until smooth.
